Can you help us improve the facilities?

We have just added a DONATE BUTTON on the ‘About’ page! Please consider donating to Creek Creative CIC using the PayPal button. We guarantee that any funds received will be spent carefully on improvements to the artists’ facilities, and we are happy to hear specific suggestions if you have interesting ideas on how your money might be best deployed as the Creek Creative organisation evolves. We are now looking into becoming a full-blown charity (at which point donations include tax incentives), and the case for this development strengthens if you contact us to only pledge future support at this stage.

The FAVi Project is completed!

Our FAVi Exhibition (Lower Gallery) has closed (Sunday 1st November) marking the end of the project. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed and worked hard to make it happen, and to all those who visited the exhibition, or attended workshops / talks, and of course the big event last weekend. We hope to compile a disc with FAVi2015 highlights, event soundtrack, and Faversham Abbey history information, plus Derek Bright’s book ‘Illuminating the Abbey’ will be out early next year, for further news please check his website.

The Faversham Abbey Virtually illuminated (FAVi) Live Event performance was on Saturday 24th October at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, following a lantern procession which set off from the Guildhall in Market Square (Faversham Market). Unfortunately the weather was not kind after the procession, and no sooner had the Abbey Reveal Event begun, the heavens opened causing problems for the performers, and most of the audience had to run for cover, many of whom ended up missing the grand finale.

Please Note: all FAVi Medieval Craft Workshops are finished.

Our Abbey Willow/Bamboo Cloisters installation in the Front Yard is by Creek Creative’s Anne MacLaren, assisted by Georgia Horton.
