Other interesting news…

Could our Gallery Cafe be ‘Teashop of the Year?’…

We need your nominations by 31st July 2015 in the KENT LIFE FOOD AND DRINK AWARDS !

We would all be most grateful if you let #‎kentfda‬ know of your appreciation for our cafe – especially Chef Lorraine (of Alsace Baking) and the team. Please recommend to a friend: many thanks in advance.

Teashop of the Year Poster

Are we ‘Teashop of the Year’?

In line with Faversham’s Magna Carta 800 celebrations we have a fantastic Abbey Willow/Bamboo Cloisters installation in our Front Yard! The work is by Creek Creative’s Anne MacLaren, assisted by Georgia Horton, and serves as a little reminder of further medieval events later in the year – most notably our Faversham Abbey Virtually illuminated (FAVi) (live ‘light sculpture’ performance on 24th October, starting at 7pm with a lantern procession).

NEW LOWER GALLERY IS AVAILABLE TO HIRE! (call 01795 535515 to take a look)

If you are interested in an art/design discipline but can’t find a course let us know – especially if you are a small group of friends thinking of learning together in an informal class – as we may be able to set up a new class just for you.
