The panoramic photos below show the Kent County photographic Association ‘Annual Print & PDI Exhibition’ 2019, which occupied both the Upper & Lower Galleries for three weeks from Tuesday 30th April to Sunday 19th May.
This KCPA exhibition was their fifth consecutive ‘Annual Print & PDI Exhibition’ here at Creek and included an excellent range of high quality photography submitted by Camera Club members, shortlisted from the many clubs based in the South East.

ARTISAN SHOP 2019 UPGRADE
Explore our ever-evolving Artisan Shop featuring the Gondola display island with four quadrants combined (photo above right), first seen as two-lengthways-pairs at our Christmas Emporium, and now joined by the four varied sizes of “TS Modules” (above left), all of which were designed and built in-house to display the wide range of excellent handcrafted wares & unique gifts made by many local Artisans & Makers.
NOVEMBER 2018’s MONDAY MANIAC
At 3am on Monday 19th November 2018 our premises suffered extensive damage when an allegedly intoxicated driver crashed into the big back doors on the corner of Quay Lane and Belvedere Road. Inevitably this will cause further disruption with these main doors out of operation and boarded up for the time being, we can only apologise for any inconvenience. Again more photos are available on our Facebook Page Album.
July 2019 update: all repairs and replacements on the rear Loading Bay and internal corridor / lobby are complete except for some minor snagging, and we now have full (DDA) access from Belvedere Road.
If you have enjoyed visiting us recently please help us by completing our ONLINE SURVEY kindly designed for us by Georgie Anderson. This feedback guides future management decisions and may be a crucial factor in obtaining significant funding for us to help improve the facilities here at Creek.
We were #KentCreativeAwards finalists in ‘Cultural Venue’ + ‘Arts Organisation’ Categories last year.
In November 2018 (and for the second year running) our Gallery Kitchen Cafe earned a Gold Award at the Freefrom Eating Out Awards 2018 in the ‘Cafés & Teashops’ category. Back in November 2017 Lorraine and her team won a Gold Award for that category for the first time (FreeFrom Eating Out Awards 2017). Once again many congratulations go to the Cafe team for all their hard work in 2018.
In 2015 our Gallery Kitchen Cafe received a ‘Kent Life and Kent on Sunday Food & Drink Awards 2015‘ ‘Highly Commended’ for ‘Cafe of the Year’. In October 2016 at the ‘Kent Life and Kent on Sunday Food & Drink Awards 2016‘ (
#kentfda), the GKC was a top three Finalist in both ‘Cafe of the Year’ and ‘Customer Service of the Year’ categories, and shortlisted again for ‘Customer Service of the Year’ in 2017.
THE LOWER GALLERY IS AVAILABLE TO HIRE… Call 01795 535515 (additional space in development)
If you are interested in exhibiting in the Lower Gallery currently the cost is £160 per week (+ 20% sales commission), with plenty of gaps in the calendar! Please note there are two rooms: the main room as shown in the photos, and the second, which currently still suffers water intrusion, but is uniquely atmospheric and includes an amazing 30m tunnel (ideal for unusual installations). The Lower Gallery is favoured by those exhibitors wishing for a dedicated space (with higher ceiling in the main room), more flexible layout, and peaceful atmosphere in contrast with the busy Upper Gallery.
