NEWS (see also our Facebook Page) + look inside Creek Creative: take the VIRTUAL TOUR

EKOH 2019 It’s the season when East Kent Artists’ Open Houses 2019 opens throughout the region for three consecutive weekends this October – 12th/13th + 19th/20th + 26th/27th… This website link provides details of all the areas and individual artist studio locations available to visit, and there are more previews on their EKOH Facebook page. EKOH is part of the Canterbury Festival – find out more here.

LOWER GALLERY

Currently there is no exhibition in this gallery, but later in October there will be the #SoloShow ‘Touch’ comprising of new works by Jacqueline Summer (Tuesday 22nd October – Sunday 3rd November 2019) which is open during the 3rd weekend (26th/27th Oct) of East Kent Artists’ Open Houses. The Private View at 6 – 8pm Thursday 24th October will be jointly held with Christie Cassisa’s #SoloShow (& Centrepieces Mental Health Arts project) Exhibition in the Upper Gallery.

THE LOWER GALLERY IS AVAILABLE TO HIRE… Call 01795 535515 (additional space in development)

Click here for Online Calendar: Events / Bookings

If you are interested in exhibiting in the Lower Gallery currently the cost is £160 per week (+ 20% sales commission), with plenty of gaps in the calendar! Please note there are two rooms: the main room as shown in the photos, and the second, which currently still suffers water intrusion, but is uniquely atmospheric and includes an amazing 30m tunnel (ideal for unusual installations). The Lower Gallery is favoured by those exhibitors wishing for a dedicated space (with higher ceiling in the main room), more flexible layout, and peaceful atmosphere in contrast with the busy Upper Gallery.

LOWER GALLERY PREVIOUS EXAMPLE

The panoramic photos below show the Kent County photographic Association ‘Annual Print & PDI Exhibition’ 2019, which occupied both the Upper & Lower Galleries for three weeks from Tuesday 30th April to Sunday 19th May.

This KCPA exhibition was their fifth consecutive ‘Annual Print & PDI Exhibition’ here at Creek and included an excellent range of high quality photography submitted by Camera Club members, shortlisted from the many clubs based in the South East.
